Former Arizona Wildcats quarterback Khaili Tate has started a clothing line and Arizona State fans are not happy about it.

Earlier this month, Tate, who had some very impressive games in October of 2017, unveiled some hoodies and shirts with the words “Mr. October College Football.”

The clothing items can be purchased at (with the hoodie starting at $40 and the shirt from $25).

ASU fans were not amused, pointing out the fact that there is only one “Mr. October” and he is legendary former ASU baseball player Reggie Jackson.

In October of 2017, Tate took the college football world by storm, throwing for 743 yards and six touchdowns and rushing for 840 yards and seven touchdowns in four games that month.

When he came off the bench at Colorado, he rushed for a record for 327 yards and four touchdowns in Arizona’s 45-42 win over the Buffaloes, leading to some calling him “Mr. October.”

The success didn’t last, however and Tate didn’t live up to growing expectations after his amazing month.

He spent time with the Philadelphia Eagles earlier this season after not getting drafted, but was cut before the season began and hasn’t found a home with another team.

The Eagles were attempting to move him to wide receiver.

Tate isn’t the only recent former Arizona college football player to debut a clothing line.

In January, former ASU running back Eno Benjamin unveiled a “Tucson’s Most Hated” clothing line.

ASU went 3-0 against Arizona during Benjamin’s time in Tempe (2017-19).

Arizona went 1-3 against ASU during Tate’s time in Tucson (2016-19).
